Big Storage Tanks - round & vertical design - (RPV-Series)
Our blue, round, vertical and cylindrical Storage Tanks are ideal for above ground storage of water, waste water and other liquids. The filling medium must be suitable for polyethylene (LLDPE). Information on chemical resistance in relation to working temperature can be found in the resistance list under the 'Drawings and Certificates' tab on the relevant product page. Due to their tall vertical cylindrical shape, these tanks are particularly space-saving and versatile. They are used for commercial water applications such as car washes, industrial plants or agricultural applications. They can also be used for waste water recovery or rainwater harvesting in buildings, or for domestic use as a rainwater storage tank in gardens.
Installation and use of large-volume Storage Tanks - (RPV-Series)
Our large vertical storage tanks can be placed anywhere indoors or outdoors and are modular and expandable. Ensure that the tank is standing on a horizontal and solid base, especially for large Storage Tanks with a capacity of 2,000 litres or more. In locations where higher wind speeds may occur, tall storage tanks in particular should be anchored to the ground. Any parts that could exert pressure on the tank bottom at certain points must be removed. Due to the manufacturing process (rotational moulding), bulges may occur in the base of large volume Storage Tanks. This is not a manufacturing defect. The tank base will adapt shortly after filling. The final shape will be determined after the tank is filled. Big Storage Tanks with a volume of 10,000 litres or more are fitted with lifting loops that can be used for installation by crane. The LLDPE (polyethylene) material used is UV-stabilised, food safe and weatherproof.
