High quality water tanks in various shapes - 1,000-1,250 litres

A wide range of industrial, commercial and domestic applications require particularly narrow, flat or round designs/shapes. Our rotationally moulded 1,000-1,250 litre water tanks are extremely stable, robust, impact and shock resistant plastic tanks. The plastic used (polyethylene - MD-PE) is high quality, physiologically safe (food safe) and UV-stabilised. The standard natural-translucent colour allows the level to be clearly seen from the outside. Other RAL colours are available on request. All water tanks with a capacity of 1,000 litres or more have a moulded-in 1" brass threaded BSP outlet. The baffles, whether X-shaped, vertical or horizontal, give excellent tank stability and provide baffle protection for mobile applications.

Water Tanks 1,000L - 1,250L with baffles & mounting options

Our 1,000 litre and larger water tanks are manufactured with baffles. In mobile use, these reduce sloshing of the water in the tank and also contribute significantly to stability and optimised weight distribution. Whether the baffles on the 1,000 litre water tanks are arranged vertically or in an X-shape makes no difference to the stability of the 1,000 litre water tanks. However, you should bear this in mind when cleaning the water tanks or if, for example, you plan to install a suction pipe or additional fittings in these 1,000 litre water tanks.

Water Tank 1,000 litres - Mounting options

We do not supply frames or racks to mount or secure our 1,000 litre water tanks. Instead we recommend a bespoke conversion/covering (e.g. L-profiles). The recesses on the outside of the tanks can also be used to secure the tank with straps, aluminium or steel straps. It is not recommended that the tank is secured solely via the baffle walls, as this is a less pronounced point on the 1,000 litre water tanks in relation to the wall thickness. The more attachment points you create, the better. It may also be advisable to use hard rubber mats or anti-slip mats to further secure the 1,000 litre water tanks to the floor to prevent slipping during mobile use.

Water Tank 1,000L - 1,250L with brass threaded BSP outlet

All 1,000L, 1,025L and 1,250L water tanks are supplied with a 1" brass threaded BSP outlet moulded into the wall of the tank. This can be conveniently used as an outlet or to connect the 1,000 litre water tanks. If you do not require this, select the option Outlet "undrilled" when ordering water tanks of 1,000 litres or more. The threaded Brass BSP outlet will still be present on the water tank, but will be completely encased in plastic on the inside. The liquid in the tank therefore never comes into contact with the brass threaded BSP outlet and the outlet is completely sealed. The threaded BSP outlet can be drilled/opened at any time if you still want to use it. We recommend using a hole circle drill/hole saw to remove the internal plastic coating on the threaded BSP outlet.
