Equip our Rectangular Storage Tanks with connections for inlet and outlet
Depending on the application and the required flow rate for filling or draining, different sizes of inlet and outlet are useful. For this reason, our Rectangular Storage Tanks are generally supplied without pre-configured connections. This gives you maximum flexibility in the size of the inlet and outlet on these Tanks. Our small RPRK-Series without baffles can be fitted with Push-In BSP Fittings at all existing flat spots on the Tank. The RPR-Series of larger volume Rectangular Storage Tanks have a connection panel/flat spots at the top and bottom of the narrow,upright front of the tank, which can be used for individual installation of tank accessories. The size of these connection panels varies according to the volume of the Tanks. To determine the size of Tank connections to be installed, please use the technical drawings of the Tanks on the respective product page. These can be found under the 'Drawings and Certificates' tab.
Rectangular Storage Tanks - suitable for a variety of water-like liquids
Our Rectangular Storage Tanks are ideal for the safe storage of chemicals such as acids and alkalis. An overview of chemical resistance can be found in the chemical resistance list. The resistance to concentrations of common liquids is also listed here. Of course, these rectangular Storage Tanks are also suitable for drinking water and other liquid foodstuffs in accordance with CE REGULATION NO. 10/2011 and CE REGULATION NO. 1935/2004. The maximum continuous operating temperature of the liquids in our rectangular storage tanks is 60° Celsius. Advantages of baffles in large volume Rectangular Storage Tanks (RPR-Series)
The baffles, which are moulded into the tank from a volume of 800 litres upwards have numerous advantages. On the one hand, the Tank remains dimensionally stable despite its small footprint and narrow, vertical design, and expansion is significantly minimised. Comparable products from competitors usually have additional steel or aluminium straps or braces attached horizontally to the tank to minimise the expansion of the Tank. This is not necessary with our Rectangular Storage Tanks due to the integrated baffles. On the other hand, our compact rectangular Tanks can also be used for mobile applications. As the name suggests, the baffles help to minimise sloshing and bouncing of the liquid in mobile applications. This also results in optimised weight distribution.
